Wounded, Not Conquered: West Coast Premiere

Kicking off the new year, Director Troy Bieser premiered his experimental short film “Wounded, Not Conquered” with dancer/choreographer Sally O’Grady at the Dance Camera West 2020 Film Festival in Los Angeles, California at the REDCAT theatre. The event ran from January 9th – 12th and featured filmmakers from all over the world.

Wounded was a judges’ selection chosen from over 300+ submissions and screened along with other diverse narrative, short, and documentary films.

“We had an amazing time, and were really honored to screen our short along with so many other amazing films and filmmakers,” said Bieser. “Kelly, Amber, Cati Jean and everyone at DCW really put together an inspired and memorable festival.”

The short, which takes its name from dancer O’Grady’s family crest and deals with themes of physical identity and trauma, continues along the festival circuit through 2020.
